You’ve probably heard the cliché “No one will love you until you love yourself.”

I don’t believe that’s exactly true. Think about it: You probably already love someone who doesn’t have a lot of love for themselves.

You are told to love yourself but also taught to believe that you are not good enough as you are, that you cannot be fulfilled and successful at the same time, and that you always have to be striving to be BETTER.

Loving yourself isn’t about the need to BE better.

When you love yourself, when you allow yourself just to be, you’re able to CHOOSE better for yourself.

When two people love each other, they allow each other to be fully themselves, and they’re able to CHOOSE better for the relationship.

I’m not talking about the feeling of love, which is sometimes readily available and sometimes hard to access, when you’re fighting yourself or someone else.

One framework, inside and out.

Choosing to care for yourself and for your people – that’s a life you can love.

This area should present the inner and outer work as problems to be addressed by coaching.

Inner Work

Love yourself.

Outer Work

Love your people.

This should present my offerings to individuals and couples.

My framework is informed by:

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • Nonviolent Communication
  • my trauma-informed training at Moving the Human Spirit
  • my ICF credential
  • and my lived experience: coming out as gay late in life, losing 200 pounds, embracing my ADHD, and loving myself.

A lot. The name means so much to me. It’s part IFS jargon and part I Ching, all of which is explained here: <link to my blog>.

TL;DR: That place where you can just BE is the Centered Self.

Integrative? That’s Centered Self: Inside & Out.

Let’s work together.
